Hi All, just a quick note to say that all went well today! We went to the Larco Mar... a really nice shopping area here in Lima. It was neat and we all had a good time! Mamá has had a killer headache all day, so we came back so that she could take a nap -- sadly, it didn't help! But, I am getting better now! Who knows why these things happen?!? It was a good day all in all! My biggest prayer need is for WISDOM and a lot of FAITH! Please pray for that today if you get the chance, I would greatly appreciate it! I'll post once more (Hopefully) before we leave tomorrow evening for the airport!

I am sure you might wonder why I call her chosen rather than adopted.... well, adopted is just her physical condition, CHOSEN is what we both are to be a family together! God is so rich in His Blessings, and He has chosen each of us from before the time we were knit in our mother's womb to be a FOREVER family! How BIG is that? How BIG is our God!?! Thank you for following our journey and for praying for us as we wait and continue to grow in the love of God! -- Blessings!

- On Mother's Day of 2006 as I sat in church watching a baby dedication, a woman there was dedicating her adopted daughter from another country. I clearly heard God say to me, "You can do that!" Well, my first thought was "Lord, are you joking?!?" Of course, He was NOT! I then spent the next two years praying about and researching adoption. Of all the things I have always been sure of in my life.... being a Mom was definitely one of them! After much prayer and consideration I submitted my application for adoption on my 35th Birthday, August 31, 2008. And, YES, this is the "CRAZIEST" thing I have ever done in my life! But, you only get to live this life one time, so BE a little CRAZY sometimes!
